I started this when I lived in Brooklyn and struggled for grace in a city that grants moments of beauty and ugliness breathtakingly close to one another. Now I live in a place where things are a different kind of ugly and the beauty is pedestrian. I struggle with that.

Visibility and invisibility keep chasing themselves around in my head. But I am far too sleep-deprived to make any sense of it, so this picture must suffice.

Dr S, when are you going to post the bounty of poetry you are creating? Or is it your own Manhattan Project?

Slick, I was hoping this shot would speak for me. If I ever again get 8 hours of sleep on a regular basis I might regain some of my brain power. *sigh*
